The newly renovated Broadfield Pub (click here for directions) is launching a regular climber’s night on Thursdays, starting with The Foundry Climbing Centre’s 20th Birthday Party this Thursday (26th).
Everyone is welcome to join in our humble celebrations of being open for two decades. Faces old and new will be attending, it’ll be great.
Here’s what the Broadfield says:
“On 26th January we will be celebrating the launch of The Broadfield Climbing Club, alongside The Foundry’s 20th Birthday. There’ll be a late licence, DJ and Edale Mountain Rescue charity auction, with signed photos of iconic locations up for grabs.
Following this, we will be hosting The Broadfield Climbing Club every Thursday. As a new regular meeting night for the local climbing fraternity, we’ll be showing climbing films from 9pm and serving food right up until 10:30pm. We are also holding a reading and book signing with the legendary climber Johnny Dawes on Thursday 2nd February at 8.30pm - places are limited so be sure to get down early!”
