There will be 10 routes this year ranging though 6a, 6a+.6b, 6b+,6c,7a,7a+,7b,7c,8a. 16 days to try the routes between 15th to 30th November.

Starts off with sharing Round 1 with the SWBL (Sheffield walls bouldering league) on Monday 10th November.
Round 2 Monday 15th December 5.30 till 9.45pm
Round 3 Monday 26th January 5.30 till 9.45pm

25 problems in each round on bouldering, top rope and main wall.

25 problems to attempt, 4 goes at each. Prizes for top 3 m/f senior and top 2 youth m/f (under 17 years on sept 30th 2008).
Four rounds, must do all rounds to claim a prize.
Round 1 at The Foundry 5.30 till 9.45pm
Round 2 at The Matrix 9am-10pm
Round 3 at The Edge, 4 till 7pm, 7 till 10pm.

We have been setting routes over the last month resulting with a complete change on the main lead wall and livingstoe wall with lots more in the Furnace. There are some great new volumes and tufas on the main wall and in the furnace to add interest.

At the upper end of the grades Steve Mcclure has set some testing routes on the main wall prow from 7c to 8a+/b.
There are also lots in the 6’s and 7’s.

The Wave / Bleaustone wall will be reset in the next 2 weeks.

Reset June 30th to July 2nd

New volumes and tufas on Bleaustone woodie board section and lots of new problems on the Wave.

Work will begin on renovating the panels on this wall from June 2nd to 6th. The work will also effect access to the adjoining slab and left end of the Livingstone wall.

The Centre will undergo a few more improvements this Summer.

Renovate the Vertical CragX wall.

Addition of new fibre glass resin features such as tufas and other fab new shapes to hang off. Plus more new holds!

Repainting around the centre.
