What is Bouldering?

Bouldering is climbing on short walls, usually up to 4.5m without the use of ropes or harnesses making it the easiest form of climbing to get into. The risk is limited by matting underneath the climb to reduce the impact of a fall. Good bouldering practice is also taught during the induction to further reduce risk.

What are Autobelays?

Autobelays are devices that take in automatically as you climb. If you fall they arrest the fall and lower you to the ground. This enables you to climb routes without needing another person to belay (control the rope and arrest your fall) you.
