Strength & Conditioning

Strength and conditioning at the Foundry follows a simple ideology - lets increase what you can do. We are not focused on benchmarking, counting reps, or increasing weight. Rather on increasing the complexity of movements you can perform with a good range of motion and level of stability, since this is what climbing requires. All sessions deliver exercises that emulate, support or balance climbing movements; each session is unique and scalable to your ability.

Block Breakdown

Each session breaks down into a strengthening section of either Push, Pull, or Leg & Posterior Chain followed by an secondary section of core training or stretching. This allows us to focus more specifically on movements and muscle groups, as well as making it easier for climbers to learn practical sessions that they can use in their own training.
