Trad Climbing Course

£160 per person for the two days, 6 places available
12th and 13th August 2019, 9am-5pm

This course teaches climbers how to place gear, build belays and plan their routes. It is a great first step for starting your trad climbing career.

Outdoor Coaching

£45 per climber.

The TEAM outdoor coaching days are running every Friday during the summer holidays. They will be a mixture or bouldering and toprope climbing, and will be focused on improving the climbers ability to move on real rock.


Provisional Timetable

Locations for the coaching days may change depending on the weather and who is attending.

Bouldering at stanage plantation then moving up onto the edge to toprope.

Bouldering on Burbage South boulders then toproping on the edge.

Bouldering at Stanage far right then moving to the popular end to toprope.

Bouldering and climbing on Froggatt. There will be an emphasis on slab and crack climbing.

Bouldering along Curbar Edge and on the boulders below. Toproping will be focused on crack climbing.

Bouldering on the Buckstone them moving up to Stanage High Neb.

Additional Information

What if it Rains?
We will look the forecast a couple of days before hand and decide what to do. When booking you can select what you want to do, there will be an option to run an indoor session 11-3 either at the foundry or another centre which will cost £15 plus entry (if going to a different wall).

Do parents need to stay?
No, we have an AALA licence.

If parents help.
If you are a climber yourself and want to help on the days then the child may be able to climber for free. this depends on a few factors so email NiIck to arrange.
