Registration for The Foundry Mountaineering Club

Below are the registration options which are available here at the Foundry Mountaineering Club. To climb unsupervised, we require you to be competent in the climbing disciplines you are registering for. Those that are not yet competent should register as a novice and be signed in by a competent climber. Under 18’s can be registered by a parent/guardian for supervised climbing, be signed in by a non parent/guardian as a novice or can complete an assessment, when appropriate, to climb unsupervised. If you are 18 or over and you are a competent climber, please complete the Over 18’s Unsupervised registration form below.

If you are a competent climber, who has completed the Over 18’s Unsupervised registration, and the parent/legal guardian of an under 18 who you supervise on a frequent basis, please complete the form below. This is the only form you are required to complete to supervise your child and it only needs completing once. It is is valid for 2 years or until the under 18’s 18th birthday.

An Over 18 Unsupervised registered climber can sign in up to two Novice/Under 18s. A Novice is someone who does not have the basic skills to ensure that they can use the facilities safely. Under 18s, unless they have completed an assessment, cannot climb unsupervised. If you wish to sign in a novice please complete the form below on the day you plan to visit. The novice should also be registered by completing the novice registration form below.

Please complete the sign in a novice form on the day you intend to climb. This form must be completed on each occasion you wish to sign in the novice.

The form below is to be completed by an over 18. This can be a parent/guardian/supervising member or the over 18 novice. The form below is for someone who does not not have the basic skills to climb unsupervised but would like to whilst supervised by a registered member.
